CLARE OMATSEYE

Founder and Managing Director of JNC International Limited, an
award-winning turnkey, medical equipment solutions company
established 20 years ago. JNC International represents 28 global Original
Equipment Manufacturers and has significantly transformed healthcare
infrastructure in Nigeria and West Africa. She also founded Vaccipharm
Limited, a vaccine and pharmaceutical distribution firm, in 1999.
Clare’s career includes executive roles in May & Baker Nig. Plc, Aventis
Pasteur Nigeria, and Huntleigh Healthcare Limited. She holds a B. Pharm
from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, an MBA from IESE Business School,
Barcelona, and has completed executive courses at Harvard Business
School, Yale University, INSEAD, IMD, and the Lagos Business School.
As a visionary entrepreneur, Clare brings extensive boardroom experience
in corporate governance, healthcare reform, pharmaceutical value chain
enhancement, corporate direction, and financial inclusion for women and
youth. Her contributions have earned her numerous accolades, including
recognition as one of the Top 20 Women in Healthcare in Nigeria.
A dedicated advocate for healthcare reform, Clare has over 32 years of
experience influencing public health policies and strengthening health
systems. She has contributed to developing healthcare policies in Nigeria,
including the Cancer Health Fund and the Presidential Healthcare Reform
Policy. Clare is a sought-after speaker on regional and international
platforms.

Clare serves as the Vice President of the African Healthcare Federation and
is the immediate past President of both the West Africa Private Healthcare
Federation and the Healthcare Federation of Nigeria. She is a Fellow of the
Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria, the Pharmaceutical Society of
Nigeria, the Nigerian Academy of Pharmacy, and an Honorary Fellow of
the West African College of Surgeons.
She serves on the boards of several organizations as an Independent Non
Executive Director, including Beta Glass Plc, Aspire Coronation Trust
Foundation, and the Governing Council of Pan-Atlantic University, she is a
member of the Board of Trustees at Al Hamsad Cardiac Centre and the
International Board of Advisors for the Institute for Environmental
Resilience & the Blue Economy (IERBE).

She also chairs the LEAP Africa Board and recently completed a seven-year
tenure as an INED at the Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN). Previously,
she has been the President of the Lagos Business School Alumni
Association (LBSAA) and served on the boards of the Enterprise
Development Centre (EDC) and Chan-MediPharm.
Clare is a committed Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow. She is married with
three children.
